Diagnosis
Diagnose: Sedum Overwatering
Follow these steps to identify and confirm the problem.
- Water is remaining around the roots longer than the plant can use it
- Overwatering is likely when several live leaves turn yellow or translucent and feel soft while the mix remains damp. A firm crown and firm pale roots point to reversible wet stress. Brown soft roots, a sour smell, a pinched dark stem base, or softness moving upward through the crown indicate established rot and require immediate salvage.
