Diagnosis

Diagnose: Sedum Overwatering

Follow these steps to identify and confirm the problem.

  1. Water is remaining around the roots longer than the plant can use it
  2. Overwatering is likely when several live leaves turn yellow or translucent and feel soft while the mix remains damp. A firm crown and firm pale roots point to reversible wet stress. Brown soft roots, a sour smell, a pinched dark stem base, or softness moving upward through the crown indicate established rot and require immediate salvage.
