Diagnose: Mint Invasive Growth
Use these observations to decide what to check next.
Rhizomes or rooted runners extending beyond the intended patch
Lift the outermost mint shoot gently and follow any surface stem back toward the patch.
If no surface connection appears, loosen the soil between that shoot and the original plant and look for a pale horizontal rhizome carrying buds and fine roots.
