Diagnose: Mint Invasive Growth
Follow these steps to identify and confirm the problem.
- Rhizomes or rooted runners extending beyond the intended patch
- Lift the outermost mint shoot gently and follow any surface stem back toward the patch. If no surface connection appears, loosen the soil between the shoot and the original plant to look for a pale horizontal rhizome with buds and fine roots.
