Diagnosis
Diagnose: Garlic Small Bulbs
Follow these steps to identify and confirm the problem.
- Use the harvest pattern to find the limiting stage
- Uniformly small bulbs across the bed point first to seed-clove size, cultivar adaptation, cold exposure, planting date, or a season-wide canopy limit. A patch along shade, weeds, dry soil, compaction, or a wet pocket points to a local resource or root problem. Rounds, soft tissue, root lesions, leaf streaks, rust, mines, or basal decay require a different diagnosis.
