Diagnose: Cherry Blossom Leaf Spot

Follow these steps to identify and confirm the problem.

Read the tissue around each hole before naming the cause
Look for intact young lesions as well as old holes. Purple round spots with yellowing and whitish patches beneath support fungal cherry leaf spot, angular dark spots with twig gum support bacterial spot and canker, while clean irregular bites, fine stippling, or a white surface coating point elsewhere.
